At the most, send in the FBI to take over the case. Clearly the local police can't handle it.

are killing citizens then brutalizing those who are protesting yet another such killing?

Those people are in danger from those police who are even attacking the media now as they did with OWS.

We are sending troops to defend OTHER people in OTHER countries, I think since we the people PAY for that protection, it's past time to send the National Guard to restore peace there and then let someone else take over the case of the murdered teen, and start arresting those cops who violated the rights of anyone there.

The Governor has said he'd be there tomorrow. Let's hope he takes some decisive action.

outside this country. The UN did try to intervene during OWS to stop the brutality of the police against the protesters. Nothing came of that, I don't believe there was even a response, at least not that I am aware of.

Jay Nixon should go there, read the riot act TO THE FERGUSON and ST. LOUIS COUNTY POLICE (who rioted tonight), the resign.

And Obama needs to get his head out of his ass on this on the double quick.

The police forces of Ferguson and St. Louis county attacked the citizens of a town tonight, violently and without provocation.

Let's face it, Obama is radioactive. ANYTHING he does will be examined with a microscope and the story will become all about him. The media would do their usually duty. It's how they roll.

If anything, Obama should put pressure behind the scenes. Overtly getting involved would be a mistake and it would take the spotlight away from the insane police and put it squarely on Obama.

if that is only because of the uproar asking why no action has been taken by the Governor so far.

The militarization of the police was also mentioned on CNN, and the reporter who was there in Ferguson stated that he saw very little rioting that it was mostly peaceful protests which made 'the militarization of the police even more remarkable'.

The arrests of two journalists was also mentioned, and as the reporter said, although this is about the teen who was killed by the police, the story of the arrest of reporters is likely to get even more attention for this story.
