By the way, if you live near any relatively big city, there are multiple armored vehicles...

...such as we saw in the Ferguson reports.

There was one of these at the end of an Arts Festival in a Philly suburb recently. I joked with an officer, 'Are you expecting a riot?'

He laughed and said, 'Nah.'

but they started obscuring them and hiding them some time ago. That's one reason the Feds came down so hard on them. Refusing to record what you're doing on the job is tacit admission that some of it is illegal.

As likely as not, they're going through the same issues as you and me, retirement and health benefits.

When things get rough, they'll come down on the side of the 99!

Count on it!

They don't make a ton of money, they don't all listen to Limbaugh.

They have husbands and wives, kids and car payments.

The moment you think they aren't US, is the moment you've missed the point.

Think on it....

They weren't "us" during the civil rights movement when they turned the fire hoses on African Americans.

They weren't "us" in Wisconsin when they were arresting union workers.

They weren't "us" in Denver when they bragged about beating up protesters.

They weren't "us" when they were chopping down homeless camps.

They weren't "us" when they were beating Occupy protesters.

Turn on your television and see whats going on in Missouri right now, they aren't here to protect "us". Or continue to live your lily white life completely ignorant of the world around you as it applies to those on the margins.
