3. Customer rally planned for Sat 6pm

4. I have a family member that works part time there, and my son's friend works

part time there.

They were both laid off, as were all part time employees.

I don't know if this is true or not, but I have been told there is now a law suit over these lay offs, because Market Basket held a job fair to replace these part time workers before laying them off. And mass lay offs and immediate hiring of new employees to replace them is against some law in MA.

I don't know how true the above is... I hope someone may have the answer.

I'm going to the rally on Saturday, so maybe I'll find out more. I feel so bad for the workers.
