Sean Hannity is reporting from Bizarro World tonight.

It's almost laughable how he sees everything the exact opposite as the reality on the ground. He's giving air time to the police chief who doesn't seem to understand why his department is being relieved by the State Patrol. Everything has appeared fine to him and Hannity except for all the trouble caused by protesters. They really are perplexed by the attention Ferguson MO is getting.

The chief is complaining about the gunshots they've been taking there every night. Apparently, the protesters and news media are the world's worst shots and no arrests are being made for armed confrontation.

Hannity is now leading the chief through a scenario that relieves the officer of responsiblility so bizzare that even the police chief refuses to cooperate.

This would be laughable if some of my older friends weren't watching with reverent faith and confidence in Hannity's version of the facts in Ferguson. Now I know what to expect the next time I go out to the bar for the evening. I wonder if Rev Jesse Peterson will be dusted off and trotted out tonight. He always helps. hahaha

At the 12 minute mark he realized the problem in Ferguson was Al Sharpton not minding his own business anyway. He devoted the rest of the first half complaining about how Obama and Sharpton are "not helping" by expressing concern for anyone other than the beleaguered police dept.

I hadn't seen his show since Colmes left. I was even more surprised at the blatant gasbaggery for the right than I expected. I swear though, there must have been a helicopter delivering African Americans to the studio. I didn't know Fox had so many willing to play Hannityball. The standard retort for those who criticized the cops was "you weren't there".

I wonder about people who take Hannity's word as gospel.
