Autopsy Shows Michael Brown Was Struck at Least 6 Times

"SNIP..............................

FERGUSON, Mo. — Michael Brown, the unarmed black teenager who was killed by a police officer, sparking protests around the nation, was shot at least six times, including twice in the head, a preliminary private autopsy performed on Sunday found.

One of the bullets entered the top of Mr. Brown’s skull, suggesting his head was bent forward when it struck him and caused a fatal injury, according to Dr. Michael M. Baden, the former chief medical examiner for the City of New York, who flew to Missouri on Sunday at the family’s request to conduct the separate autopsy. It was likely the last of bullets to hit him, he said.

Mr. Brown, 18, was also shot four times in the right arm, he said, adding that all the bullets were fired into his front.

The bullets did not appear to have been shot from very close range because no gunpowder was present on his body. However, that determination could change if it turns out that there is gunshot residue on Mr. Brown’s clothing, to which Dr. Baden did not have access.

Not saying this cop should have even done that. But when did it all change. And why?

Plus its a dumb idea. If you are only shooting to wound then they are obviously not a threat.

It does indicate the widely reported witness statements that he was shot in the back were false.

But there needs to be more information about how far away the shots were fired from and the angle of the shots.

If his hands were up the entry wound would be in the back of the arm. There were also several entry and exit wounds implying his arms were down.

I should think it's going to be very hard to reconstruct exactly what happened. There will be several more autopsies, including one conducted by the Justice Department.

The sound of gunshots may have stopped his attempt to flee when he turned around with his hands up.

Once a shot was fired Michael Brown stopped and turned facing the officer with his hands raised so the shots entering the front are plausible.

first shot was fired from the cop car, Michael Brown and Dorian Johnson immediately run away down the street, cop jumps out of his car going after them and fires another shot, Michael Brown stops running and turns around, yells to cop that he has no gun and to stop shooting, puts his hands up indicating he was giving up, cop continues firing his gun into Michael Brown.

There was no substantial risk of death or any serious bodily injury to that cop or anybody else when he used deadly force to empty his gun into an unarmed kid.

This is first degree murder.

Under Missouri law, Darren Wilson belongs on death row. Anything less is a miscarriage of justice.

There will be high-fives all around at the police station, and the NRA will throw him a parade.

This fucking country sucks so hard sometimes.

It's only the large-scale protests against staggering police misconduct that keep me sane and give me hope...

I tend to think this cop might at least get the same or harsher. Not all of them walk.
