And now Michael Brown was a maniac doped up on ... pot?

Anything to justify the execution of an unarmed black man by a white cop. Given his size and the fact that he was a bit overweight, Michael Brown could have been in a room where pot was being smoked as much as a month ago and never smoked it himself.

County investigation: Michael Brown was shot from the front, had marijuana in his system

Michael Brown was shot in the head and chest multiple times, according to Mary Case, the St. Louis County medical examiner.

While Case declined to comment further, citing the ongoing investigation into Brown’s death, another person familiar with the county’s investigation told The Washington Post that Brown had between six and eight gunshot wounds and was shot from the front.

In addition, Brown had marijuana in his system when he was shot and killed by a police officer on Aug. 9 in Ferguson, according to this person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation.

The report from Case’s office was released to the St. Louis County prosecutor’s office on Friday night but has not been made public. This report is part of the county’s official investigation into the shooting, but it is one of three autopsies being conducted.

"uppity N****r" and start shooting.

Oh wait, the state allowed Wilson to flee, nay aided and abetted his flight. So we'll probly never know what substances that pig had ingested before starting his shift that day (or while on duty).

They knew their little calumny about theft\assault was starting to fall apart and so this is the latest B.S. in the 'blame the victim' trope.

I hope the masses of Ferguson (make that 'Fergustan') don't buy it and keep up their resistance.

that he was partial to this particular indulgence.

This will be a Trayvon Martin redux. Weed is okay for white suburbanites to smoke on the weekends when they're in high school and college, but it's evidence of "thuggery" when used by black youth.

I had an argument with the boyfriend of an acquaintance during the Zimmerman trial. This clown was saying with a straight face that marijuana affects black men differently because we have a different chemistry to the other races.

I never cease to be astounded by the amount of ignorance that's been stirred up over the past few years.

before this was leaked - that explained that is what "Swisher Sweets" were used for. I recall comments along the lines that no one in their right mind would smoke them. I don't recall anyone acting surprised in those discussions - and I assumed from those discussions that there was a good chance that pot would show up.

So why the surprise and defensiveness now?

. . . I lit them up for two important reasons:

One was during my treework job where nats and other bugs would fly into my eyes and nose at every opportunity.

The other was years later, while on my long commute home, to keep me from dozing off and wrecking my car.

I chose them because they were slim and 'sweet' as opposed to most other choices than, maybe, Tijuana smalls, which were generally more expensive.

I know well what they are used for, but, back in my youth, we also used things like toilet paper rolls with tin foil, rolled up tin foil, apples, potatoes, cigarettes, and other items to smoke my pot out of.

I think this is biased and unnecessary speculation.

25. A reasonable explanation

it would have been good to offer this in the initial discussion(s) about what they were used for.

My assumption, based on the earlier pretty much uncontradicted discussions, was that there was a significant possibility that he woudl have pot in his system.

It is curious that the leak seems to contradict the autopsy report commissioned by his family - at least I'm pretty sure I didn't see anything about marijuana in that report.

2. I hate to break this to you, but people don't smoke the kind of cheap cigars that are sold in convenience stores for pleasure. They use them to roll blunts. (I had plenty of personal experience in this area when I was in my teens and twenties.)

3. None of that has anything whatsoever to do with the shooting.

I worked with a number of gentlemen who smoked that brand. I remember that very well.

It may well be the case, but I find the surety in which some are speaking about it to be unreliable as 'evidence' and extremely speculative.

I'm disgusted with the Ferguson Police Department's propaganda war against a murder victim. I'm disgusted by the way police departments in general allow their officers to trample citizens civil and constitutional rights. I'm disgusted by roughly 50% of America turning a blind eye to systemic racism.
