Woman, 72, on way to Orlando kicked off plane for 'looking sick'

A 72-year-old woman who was on her way to Orlando wants a proper explanation after she was kicked off the Delta flight when another passenger told the crew she looked sick, according to First Coast News.

Suzanna Hays was flying from Akron, Ohio, to Orlando with a flight change in Detroit on Aug. 5. Before her plane in Detroit could take off, a passenger next to her complained to the crew that Hays looked tired and drowsy.

First, she was moved after being told she could be contagious, and then the crew told her she had to get off the plane entirely. Hays was given a $20 voucher for tea and soup and then had to wait an hour and a half for the next Delta flight to Orlando.

Hays does have a neurological disorder called white mass disease, but she says she wasn't sick during her flight and she describes the way the crew treated her as "awful."

A lawsuit from one 72 year old woman because she was kicked off a flight for "looking sick" is cheaper than a lawsuit from an entire flight of people who claim they got sick because Delta let a 72 year old woman fly after being warned she "looked sick".

They put her on another flight later.

Problem solved! I wonder if they told the boarding passengers about the possibly "sick" woman.
