So it's starting to look like Captain Ron Johnson is no better than any of the rest. (Original Post) MohRokTah Aug 2014 OP
Some of us figured that out, or at least highly suspected it, a couple of days ago... kath Aug 2014 #1

that peace would prevail at his command. We were told we were being negative and should give him a chance.

No justice, no peace. A new face of authority, no matter the skin color, is not the answer.

Making cops who kill innocent unarmed young men accountable is the answer. Recognizing the systemic problems that encourage this shit is the answer.

Next we have to see how the national guard saves the day. Great.

most, if not all of them are out of control, regardless of race. It's the nature of the job that attracts certain types. I'm not sure we can do anything about that... The only thing we can do is try to keep them in check. Wearing cameras 24-7 would be a great start.

Do keep in mind that Johnson doesn't have total control over the MHP......with that said, though, here's hoping that gets resolved.

We don't want our assumptions to be challenged, do we?

What should he have done when there was violence? What would you do in his position?

I remember your Ebola posts, and I think you are probably afraid to come out from behind your keyboard. You slammed people working abroad in Africa to save lives. I do remember.

Sometimes people have to make hard decisions. That man has been put in an impossible position.

Do you remember what he did during Katrina? Wow. Just wow.
