You'll never, ever have to worry about how much time you're spending on DU when you could be watering the flowers or fixing the roof or watching "Sopranos" reruns.

Handy, huh?

why not refer to him that way?

And an 18 year old is a kid (legal status notwithstanding). The human brain (esp. prefrontal cortex, that weighs outcomes, forms judgments and controls impulses and emotions) doesn't reach maturity until the mid-20s. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2892678/

Nice conflation, and no additional posts separating the two posts quoted here.

Good placement, bonus points for irrelevance.

I doubt that the pro-life crowd (or any reasonable person) would dispute that there are times when the use of lethal force by law enforcement is justifed. The question of whether that was true in this case is still open. If that turns out not to be the case, i.e. Brown's shooting was unjustified, I don't see any reason to believe the pro-lifers would be less outraged than any other demographic group. If you do, why don't you explain it.

The question of whether abortion represents homicide is completely unrelated to whether the use of lethal force by law enforcement is justified and when. Trying to conflate the two with a gratuitous slap at pro-lifers is intellectually dishonest.

..because as soon as the baby is born, if the parents need help to pay for the neonatal care or for the groceries, the best conservatives can offer is 'Get a job, you slob.'

Want to join the military? You're in luck, because conservatives consider the military budget holy and untouchable. Want to get help for your health care, disability, or retirement? Forget it, because they want to get rid of Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security.

Hypocrisy at its best.
