but the racism thing makes sense. In my town, we are the most ethnically diverse in Washington state as well as economically low income (more than 50%). The suburban and rural areas that adjoin our city are where the racists moved long ago. They still call kids the n-word at basketball games out in the burbs. So his racism is a given to me based on where he was raised.
