comments at his Oath Keepers meeting about the President, gays, affirmative action. He even shows where he went to Africa looking for where the President was born. He has been relieved of duty. That host of characters in Ferguson are dangerous.

(1,628 posts)I'd say that many white cops feel they are WAY above the law. They think that people of color are invading them, or they are told.
But, in the end, It is always about the poor. That is why we see gated communities.

(269,186 posts)and they too commit extra-judicial killings in large numbers. Remember most of the military and police in the Americas are now American trained.

(1,628 posts)I have had a few encounters with cops, none good. When they pull you over, they do their best to escalate the situation.
I'm with the people of Ferguson, but this is much larger than most people think.

in the wee hours of a morning. They were sleeping in the back seat.
He has locks and this lil criminal cop was looking some money. At the opportune time the cop came out of the bush with bright lights and told him to stop. Everything on his car was working - he was educated in the US and is very street smart. The cop started the usual BS about get out of the car boy. My brethren in his quiet voice asked him if he'd stop shouting before he woke his mother and aunt. The fugging cop peeped in the back window, saw them and scattered back to his vehicle.

(1,628 posts)my parents took me and my siblings to my Aunt and Uncles' house. They got drunk every time we went there.
Guess what...he got pulled over many times and got a warning, and I saw it all. If we were black, I might not be here.

(8,515 posts)One has to wonder what kind of damage was done to this guy when he was raised..
Where does this stuff come from?. It certainly has nothing to do with reason or rational thinking. Its about every drop of his energy being consumed and driven by the power of hate..
Perhaps sexual thoughts of deviancy have been repressed and rears its ugly head as this type of... hate!!!

(10,497 posts)now to make up for past mistakes ignoring or even opposing Law Enforcement. Most cops are Republicans, but I had several admit to me privately that they vote Democrat. They aren't comfortable revealing their true feelings for fear of retribution from other cops, loss of job and/or career.
Perry and Abbott take turns as the featured speaker, speaking to the leadership of a police organization in Texas, 15,000 strong at their annual convention. Not a Dem in sight, except me! They did insist I take a picture with the Gov. The photographer's wife asked me for my picture order and looked a little confused when I said "none."
