Don't like how the 2016 Presidential Election is shaping up? Better get involved in 2014!

Over 1 million more votes were cast for Democratic Candidates for the House of Representatives than were cast for Republicans.

Why?

Because Republicans had so much control over state legislatures and governor's mansions for so long.

The biggest problem Democrats have is getting voters to the polls in election years that are not divisible by 4.

Hell, look at Ferguson. Demographically the African American community should have complete control of that City Council, but they don't due to poor turnout in municipal elections.

In my ward, more than 5000 people turned out for the election in 2012.

273 turned out for the municipal elections in 2013.

Local elections mean EVERYTHING. The more local the politician, the more of an effect they will have on your daily life and the more of an effect they will have on elections for offices above the local level.

Want to change the dynamic for 2016 and beyond?

You had DAMNED WELL BETTER GET INVOLVED IN THE ELECTIONS THIS YEAR!!!
