In the name of freedom loving people we demand you squash his right to speak his mind.....

http://www.commondreams.org/headline/2012/04/10-5

"Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez called on the organization "to take decisive steps" against Guillen in the name of "freedom loving people."

Hypocrites.

These 1%ers from Cuba hate it that Castro gets any respect for holding out against overwhelming odds and that he kicked out a corrupt US backed, mobbed-up puppet.

I get it. You hate Castro.

Have the majority of the Cuban people been better off under Castro or US backed dictators?

Should be an interesting campaign. I wonder whether there's a Cuban equivalent of DU?

That this DU has.

A long time ago, a Ukrainian friend of mine said:

'All of the real Communists are in the West, because they've never lived under it.'

She wasn't exactly correct, but she had a point. It's easy to love the Cuban government if you didn't grow up there. It's even easier if you're a left-winger who defines themselves as opposed to any and all right wingers, including the 'Miami mafia.'

The Cuban DU would be comprised of young, educated liberals who want actual Democracy and not the sham they have.

It's not a rights issue at all. He spoke his mind, knowing there could be job-related consequences.
