The sinners are deemed to be the misfits, those who defy authority, those who think for themselves and formulate their own ideas of right and wrong.

Of course in the song the main character is frustrated because the Catholic girls parents have rejected him as "not good enough" for their daughter and he is trying to convince her to reject their parental decrees and come out with him. So perhaps his motivations are not exactly lily white.

for a little while. There are some folks around here that pride themselves on getting people juried, and subsequently unable to post.

There are also some who push the envelope so far that it isn't even in the same zip code anymore, and they get let off the hook.

One poster insisted that RQ was the primary source of misogyny on this site. Apparently daring to disagree with some who consider themselves superior to the rest of us makes a person a misogynist, not arguing against women's reproductive rights, equality in healthcare coverage, repeating MRA arguments about rape, domestic violence, or supporting people who make such statements. It's a feminism as misogyny and misogyny as feminism hall of mirrors.

Of course I could not disagree more with that assessment and feel Redqueen's loss greatly. We have lost an invaluable voice, someone who has taught me a great deal, and I know some others feel the same way.
