What Really Bothers Me About The GOP

what really bothers me about the GOP is their blitzkrieg war on everything everywhere and just about every state. They are at war with the country, women, children, workers, unions, public employees, firemen, police, health care, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, and Lord only knows what else.

They remind of the sappers in Vietnam or the Kamikaze in WWII. They are determined to run at anyone who does not agree with them. They seem to be determined to shut everyone else up, deny people the right to vote, instill fear and intimidation, and are willing to use every mean and underhanded tactic under the sun to force their version of reality on everyone else.

Every single word out of Romney"s mouth is a complete lie or distortion and it goes unchallenged. The media is trying to throw this election to the GOP since the seem to own it.

And we are seeing them get crazier by the minute. I am at a loss about what we can do about it. And they are becoming a serious threat to the integrity of this nation. These governors are acting like the North Koreans or the Taliban when they were in charge of Afghanistan.

I am 68 and I never thought I would see it get this crazy.

1. it's time we take every attack for what it is: an attack on AMERICANS

next time (and every time) they find someone to attack for being a "slut" or gay or wearing a hoodie or liberal or whatever, we should just say:

"seems to me republicans are never at a loss to attack one kind of american or another. last i checked, that person you just attacked was an american, and i resent these republican attacks on americans, and i will defend this american and every other american against all attacks!"

Like they were formerly held back, but now they have free reign. The heartless bastards, the raving misogynists, the vicious homophobes - they all seem to have taken over the party and are lauded by the rank and file.

Is this an unmasking or a new development?

Just listen to some old FDR speeches and how he talks about Republicans. They haven't changed a bit except to get even more extreme. They will make the creature on Alien seem kind in the end. In the end they will use violence against Americans to get what they want.

They have the same mentality as drug addicts, pedophiles, serial rapists, and serial killers. They're too far gone to be redeemed and need to be put away for the rest of their lives, for the good of the country.

They're just trying to make it seem more competitive than it really is, to drive ratings (which equal ad sales and profits). Obama wins comfortably, I think.

....you're doing it....point it out to everyone, everywhere you go....ease-up only when friends, neighbors and relatives run when they see you approaching....

....I carpet-bomb everyone with my blabber....they may get tired of hearing me babble, but I leave them with something to think about....

to the destabilization techniques overseas. Get factions fighting with each other while you rob em blind. It sure looks like that is what they are now doing domestically, and it is working very well. Left fighting right, religions and athiests, racial unrest, womens rights threatened, gays on the defensive, and of course the old favorite, the war on drugs and poor mostly black people. It is their MO, and the solution is that we have to decide to put ALL of our differences aside long enough to defeat these robber baron bastards. But for the life of me I am not sure how to get from here to there.

Everything pretty much covers it for me. Did I miss anything? No. That about does it.

Your perception is entirely correct, Nemesis. The plain fact is that the republican Part is NOT a political organization in its current organizational operation structure. It actually is more in line with a criminal organization; in reality, it's FAR WORSE than one, but up until the Reagan era it had been relatively harmless and within the bounds of electoral adjustment.

Not anymore! With the way the republicanist bastards have locked up the Supreme Court, have disenfranchised far more people than ever before (did you know that MORE AFRICAN AMERICANS cannot vote in this country THAN UNDER SLAVERY? Think about that). To that end, we have to look at the progenitor of virtually every problem we face in this country, and just as importantly, how those problems ripple over to the entire world.

ANY lawyer worth his salt can see how the republican Party, taken as a whole, steals production from the vast majority of people and transfers it to the elite rich. Any lawyer worth his salt can see how the GOP's environmental policies, or specifically lack of such policies, have accelerated climate change and have cause billions of dollars, if not trillions of dollars, of devastation around the globe. Any lawyer worth his salt can see how the GOP has started wars that have resulted in millions of deaths, and millions more wishing mightily that the US would be destroyed.

This is 100% caused by the republican Party.

So you not only have seen the damage, but you have to understand, the GOP is NOT a political party as much as it is an agent of global human and planetary destruction. It must be taken out, any way possible.

Brazen because they have had their long sojourn in the wilderness and subsequent comeback generational assault.

They are so close now that momentum carries them onward toward the goal line even when they lose. Our party is ever drawn to toward them by seeking to fill the space they leave in their wake.

We need to take real advantage of the space I hope and expect this coming election to buy a little of and make an end to the Turd Way/corporate sellout gang running our party into the ground trying to follow some bag of mixed nuts to the core, ever trying to meet somewhere in the middle.

They get away with so much bullshit - no one calls them out on it.
They make one gaffe after another, rarely gets mentioned - but if our VP says one little thing, it's 24/7.

I can't wait to see what RMoney is going to do when he has to come face to face with President Obama.
Will he lie to his face? OR will he have an etch-a-sketch moment?
