So if we help the "good" rebels against the "bad" rebels...

and both of them against Assad...

Then surely the bad rebels will just put down their black flags for a few months and fight alongside the good rebels.

Then when they've ousted Assad, they'll simply hoist their black pirates' flag again and go back to being the bad guys.

What's to stop them from doing that?
