Progressive Protests vs. Right-wing Protests

I've been doing these protests (or following them, I couldn't go Sunday do to RL commitments) and this I know. Progressives can get 500k+ people to an event and they are lucky to get a blip of coverage on the evening news.

And yet the right wing can brag about how TEN MILLION people will show up to their event and yet only maybe 100 show up and yet they get non-stop coverage by the media.

Frustrating.

10,000 truck-drivers will close down the highway to protest Obama? Let's cover this! Only 10 guys showed up? Let's cover this failure!

If the organizers of the rally had touted that they will get 1 million protesters, then Fox News would have gleefully reported that only a few hundred-thousand people showed up.

The actual events are not covered because it is always too embarrassing because of the minuscule crowds that actually show up.

As I understand it, the fake news guy hands out the agenda each day there. Maybe it happens with other channels. Cover this, do not cover that. Hearst used to do it.
