The police kept the protesters from actually getting as far as Wall Street. The protesters sat down in the middle of Broadway. And a thousand or so people are still there, occasionally chanting or singing but mostly just wondering whether the cops are content to play a waiting game or if they're going to move in at some point.

Gives a whole new meaning to "the revolution will not be televised."
