Also, they have problems of their own. As their citizens become more prosperous they will demand more freedom.

The difference now is that they are not as poor. Not rich, yet not at the bottom in terms of per capita GDP like they were before.

It's creepy how all of a sudden all the industrialized countries have started acting the same. It's like they've had a meeting or something. Really makes you wonder what they talk about during those G8 and G12 meetings.
