As a result of an earlier version of this post criminals involved in couterfeiting were arrested

Last edited Sat Jan 17, 2015, 02:27 PM - Edit history (4)

By posting a link to previous copy, which appeared at this location, at least one person involved in promoting capital crimes - including, but not limited to - the assassination of President Obama revealed their ambitions to publicize information, which criticized and falsely blamed (LEAVES) (WHSIPEERS) and Anonymous operators for these crimes; although no copy at this link mentioned any of those operators. I removed previous copy because it caused people to believe they could get away with counterfeiting and money laundering. Some criminals believe since these arrests are not mentioned online, they do not occur, which is absurd. Police officer give people speeding tickets every day; and these arrests do not appear online. Read the replies to this Opening Post and realize copy, which was written here before 1/17/15 did not mention (LEAVES) (WHISPEERS) Anonymous, Obama or the FBI in any way. On 1/17/15 Online agents of the US Secret Service and FBI indicated they would allow Chinese satellite teams to impair computer in ways that obviously created usable code for other Chinese satellite agencies and online agents. These US Federal Agents could have easily prevented lengthy delays in my ability to remove accidental Chinese code I typed from this document; but decided to do nothing to protect President Obama and assist other online agents working on this project.

We have a shortage of currency, at least available to ordinary folks, because the Very Serious People seem unable to give up on the illusion that we still have hard currency. So any actual counterfeit bills are just filling a hole that the government refuses to.

Counterfeiting is the most inflationary crime imaginable; and no one needs to have an economics degree to figure out the reason this statement is true. Your question; however, is - to say the least - unusual.

If there's not enough currency in circulation. So I say more power to the counterfeiters. They're doing the job our government won't.

If the counterfeit currency goes undetected, it's not really counterfeit, is it? And to the extent that ordinary people don't have enough money, counterfeit currency could be considered a net positive for the 99%. You only experience runaway inflation when there's more currency in circulation than there is demand.

Am I advocating counterfeiting currency? No, not at all.

I thought they redesigned everything above a one dollar bill (which should be made obsolete by just not printing any more of them) to prevent counterfeiting.

I don't expect the average cashier to be a government currency expert.

Are FBI online and special teams agents monitoring ALL illegal eavesdropping concerned about plans Widely Heard Inspirational Eardrum Reverberation Specialists WHISPERS operators make to assassinate The Commander In Chief, President Obama? These operators utilize Linguist Evoking Artificial Voice Emitting Systems (LEAVES) to cause Obama to be the President to hold the record for the most assassination attempts in the history of US Presidents. Why don't FBI and NSA online agents stop allowing Chinese satellite and illegal gear operators from continuing to work toward causing the death of the Commander In Chief?

just by handling it. I run a grocery store and my cashiers turn away funny money all the time -- as soon as it hits their hands they know it doesn't feel right.

I don't pay a lot of attention to it, really, and use my debit card for most purchases, anyhow.

However, that was not always the case. The year they introduced the new $100 bills for the first time, I needed a bunch of cash to use at an international mineral specimen show. I was buying stock for my mineral specimen business. Although the show was held in the United States, most of the wholesale dealers I would be buying from were from other countries.

Almost all purchases at these shows are made in cash, specifically $US100 bills. The new bills were just getting well-distributed that year, but when I went to the bank, I had requested old bills, rather than the new ones. My local bank was kind enough, given two weeks notice, to make me up a bundle of the old bills.

As it turned out, that was a good move. The international mineral dealers were very, very skeptical of the new $100 bills. They had never seen them, and the new design was so different that they were suspicious of them. Some even refused to accept them. My bankroll, though, was all old design Benjamins, and all of my purchases were done efficiently.

Just a funny true story.

Prices are nearly 10 times as high as they were in the mid 1960's, so today's $20 is nearly equivalent to mid 1960's $2 bill.

We really need to eliminate the cent and nickel, and start rounding to ten cents. Keep the dime, get rid of the quarter and mint a new octagonal smaller 50 cent piece. Get rid of $1 bills and use the coins. Then look at either a $2 coin or a $5 coin.

The current cent and nickel are equivalent to having a 1/10 cent and half cent piece 50 years ago. It is just plain stupid minting them anymore. The money would be better spent on a jobs program.
