Bernie is an actual centrist, not a fake right wing centrist claiming to know what is best for the nation.

They can't think of a way to perpetuate their discrimination against gays and lesbians, so they ducked and did the least amount of work possible. They could have invalidated all constitutional prohibitions and cleaned up the patchy and embarrassing differences between State's treatment of out-of-state marriages, but no! We have to expend more energy, more money and more time to get this massive injustice reversed.

... and save the country allot of money (which the "con"servatives like to tout,) and get the job done once and for all? Justice delayed is justice denied. But yes, I'm with Bernie, since piecemeal is at least headed in the right direction.

I believe that their ducking and weaving could be them just waiting for the right case to come before the court to pull a 5-4 ruling. In other words, I don't trust them farther than I can throw them.
