changing to Mr. not thomas cause that would be acknowledge of your error. and you accuse people of not caring. why? cause it went below those two threads, a tad behind you, so you needed to kick.

then you accuse me specifically of not caring.

who is the reactionist? who is making accusations to a board as a whole, and me specifically, cause your OP was not acknowledged, though the others were.

and THAT is why i posted.

but carry on make this about you.

i am done kicking your damn thread, for you.

I wonder what I would come up with if I compiled a list of your insulting posts....hmmmm...

You made it about me with your very first post. At that point, you weren't showing concern for the death of Mr. Duncan.

I changed it to Mr. Duncan so people like you wouldn't focus on me using the man's name "Eric". But, please do carry on and you are welcome to not bump my damn thread.

I didn't have much hope from the start. Most people don't live through it. I didn't have much hope in the experimental antiviral and worried that because it was hard on the body to take that that in itself would have ended up doing more harm than good. When I read he'd been put on a ventilator and was getting dialysis I didn't see it as a good sign. Only his kidneys started to improve because of the dialysis, but it was more the ventilator that worried me. I just couldn't take it as a good sign and had a terrible gut feeling it was going to be the end for him.

If there's a bright side though he lasted much much longer in the hospital than I would have expected especially considering how bad off he was when finally getting treatment.

Some people end up surviving with no treatment while others don't getting the best care, and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. Just a crap shoot.

for him, for his family and for his loved ones.

I've seen a lot of anger at him for "Lying" to get here. I don't know that is the case. I just feel saddened that anyone has to deal with this, and I hope that his family and loved ones don't come down with any symptoms in the next couple of weeks.

http://news.yahoo.com/ebola-patient-thomas-eric-duncan-dies-at-dallas-hospital-201613535.html
Texas Health Presbyterian immediately isolated Duncan upon his second arrival at the hospital. According to the Dallas Morning News, the hospital may have violated federal guidelines by delaying a blood test for Ebola.

According to the report, other testing and blood work was done first to rule out other causes. The Ebola test wasn’t performed and confirmed until two days after Duncan was placed in isolation.
