Calipers dumped their hedge funds. Gross leaves Pimco goes to Janus and takes umteen billion with. Junk bond market blew up. World glut of Crude Oil and no buyers at the quote. That said,JP Morgan Chase is raiding customer accounts to speculate in equities and grow their profits. Aw gees! Notice ever time the 1% ers rotate from one asset class to another the market gets a tank job. This way they buy stocks cheap and on margin. This thing is so rigged. BTW,when Oil drops, those funds are replaced with the sale of stocks. So rigged.

that there are still people who are so stupid as to actually believe the stock market is a reliable indicator of the health of the actual economy. Especially when a lot of corporations are making increased profits because of layoffs and payroll reductions and outsourcing and cost rises above the rate of inflation. The stock market is no longer a useful index for the economy; what it is is a useful index for how much the capitalist overclass is screwing everyone else.

... to the threat of rising interest rates. While they cannot rise too much, they eventually have to rise some. When they do, the drunken party that is the stock market will be in for hard times.

Lots of folks don't want to wait for it to actually happen (rising rates) because then you will see what "tank" actually means.

The ONLY reason the market is in the stratosphere to begin with is the easy money.
