Any DU'ers in Wichita, KS get to a shelter right now. Be safe! Also it seems to be all ok in Wichita but don't leave your basements yet.

Hope people in Iowa are okay. Becoming a meteorologist soon, so i'll keep posting if anything else comes up.

Also people in Andover and Benton get into a shelter ASAP! Its coming towards you. Coming up the Kansas turnpike.

New report of a tornado near Salina. Anyone there get to a shelter now! These things are not messing around this year.

McConnell hit, over 10,000 without power currently.

Tornado SW of Towanda. Get in a shelter now. More storms on the way sadly. Possible tornado going to Fredrick. Doesn't end does it?

SE and SW Wichita hit, El Dorado be prepped for it.

God that isn't good, nor is it the first time. It happened when I lived in Wichita in the 80's and 90's.

11. I live in SW Wichita. We don't have a basement either.

We had left a gone to friend's on the north side of town because they do have a basement though.we got home and found the house fine and we still have power. My kids were a little upset that I made them leave, but I told the tornado hit just a couple miles away.
