Wendy Davis was wrong to have a wheel chair in her ad about Abbott's hypocrisy

and should run this ad to make up for it. She should track down the woman who lost her leg or one of the people paralyzed by the surgeon and have them say this. Wendy Davis knows she was wrong to use a wheel chair in her ad criticizing Greg Abbott, that is why I am saying that on her dime. But you know what is worse, being the first to run to the court house when someone injures you but shutting the court house door in the faces of people like me when we try to sue those who harmed us. That is what Greg Abbott did. But he was right about one thing. He is more disabled than I am, because I am not a hypocritical bastard. That, more than any wheel chair, is his real disability.

The wheelchair wasn't meant to belittle the disabled or Abbott for being disabled. The content of the ad makes that clear. The ad is about someone who was seriously injured using the justice system to gain deserved compensation who then, in power, does everything he can to deny others the same justice. The wheelchair is necessary to drive home this point.

frankly I think my ad is meaner. The problem was the wheel chair, it was frankly a very unforced error which distracted from the message. I have no problem with mean ads I have a big problem with ineffective ads.

Abbott has been running ads with him in the wheel chair, saying he can move faster than the traffic and how he pushed his wheel chair in the parking garage, so he was over the top on this to start. What Wendy Davis is saying in the ads are true, in fact they are far worse. Abbott is strictly a pay to play politician, give him a big donation and he will try to make a rule for your benefit.

They could have put a picture of a banana and the message remains the same. The 3-4 things mentioned that are hypocritic. The wheel chair just emphasizes the hypocrisy. AND many victims that were denied compensation ALSO used a wheel chair or people know someone and it means something to them.

Depends on how you want to look at it.

They call her abortion Barbie. They forget she needed to abort. I say fuck them. Only the pain of the GOP matter to these assholes. Why must we always back down to these assholes. Keep the wheelchair in the ad. And why must an act of their god give him millions of dollars. If he truly believed in his god, he would have taken this as a sign to help others.

How bad did these selfsame shitbags pile on Max Cleland, or Tammy Duckworth? They're great at dishing it out, but taking it? Not so much.

The fact that they've been calling her abortion Barbie for well over a year completely disqualifies them from any outrage. Not to mention that they're not really outraged anyway. They'd throw Abbott under a bus in a New York minute if they had the urge to.

The real fact is they're not really outraged. They just need to distract from the devastating message of the ad. Look, a squirrel.
