.. but I'm wondering if their "scare porn" will lead to depressed people thinking that since they're going to die anyway, they may as well commit suicide now and avoid the angst and possible agony later.

With so many depressed people in this country, I think lots of them are on the edge, and Fox would be cause even a healthy person to want to eat their gun.

What I've found, at least with my family, is that if I discuss an issue with them but don't use any slogans or buzz-words, they actually take a liberal position on most issues. But if you frame it the way Fox frames it, and use their words, they suddenly think they are republicans who take the republican side. It's fascinating.
