are likely to be saying (before too long) that Obama should be punished for the Secret Service "prostitution" scandal? (before the facts are in ...)
Like he ordered them to get prostitutes ...

(9,644 posts)the presidents security detail that was involved? My guess is that in general, servicemen are a prostitutes best friend.

(23,616 posts)The 11 employees in question were special agents and Uniformed Division Officers. None were assigned to directly protect Obama.

(9,644 posts)Last Thursday, a dozen secret service agents sent to provide security for U.S. President Barack Obama, were relieved from duty and replaced with other agency personnel after an incident of alleged misconduct.
To me, that implies very strongly that they were assign as security protection for the president.

And then, he did tell me of groping ladies at parties where his wife was in attendance ...
seems like there's a double standard ... he once turned purple telling me (long before Clinton admitted to the U.S.) that Clinton admitted to the charges!

(23,616 posts)But I see no reason to investigate Obama for the SS situation.
The OP is lame.

Obama did not need this headache, and I feel badly for him (I am also worried about his security since the advance team was pulled so what they were going to do while he was there may not get done).
I got to think this will open the floodgate for other times this has happened. This many folks involved? This may have been a regular expectation in the past. Wonder if any of the women had cell phones with cameras.

(79,302 posts)as I've read on other blogs Conservative comments trying to link/blame Obama for this.
A Brand New World
(1,119 posts)They look for any and all opportunities to blame him for something.
zbdent
(35,392 posts)they'd blame Obama for George Zimmerman's actions, along with Trayvon wearing a hoodie ... facts be damned.

(18,186 posts)They want to discuss prostitution? How 'bout let's talk about Vitter, or the fact that when the Republican Convention hits ANY town, the hookers and the strip clubs make bank. (The Southern Baptist Convention has the same economic impact on a town...just sayin')
Republicans should have long ago learned their lesson about the pot calling the kettle burnt. But they never do. So we get to have some fun at their expense....
bring it on....
and BTW, your comparison is ridiculous. Who was murdered in cold blood by the secret service in this incident? Anyone? Was anyone left sprawled out in the morgue? No?
Well, fuck all.....I know there are some who think consensual sex is just like murder (sex is the most dirty, vile, disgusting thing ever - and you should save it for someone you love?) but it really isn't just like killing someone in cold blood. Really.

But if they do, no matter how small the number - it will be presented to you by the media.

(25,183 posts)for the reich wing to link the President to the Secret Service scandal, even they know it. I'd be really surprised if even someone as much of an idiot as Rush Limpballs tried that, even obliquely.

(35,392 posts)then again, did the story hit when the regular "working" "liberally-biased media" was able to talk about it? (Say, the morning drive for the regular workweek??? For Ann Romney, that means, working more or less between 8am and 5+pm Monday through Friday; drive time, 6am+)

(25,183 posts)and see what blowhard has to say on his radio show on Monday. I haven't tuned into him for a couple of weeks, but I'll bet he'll thump the Ann Romney/Hilary Rosen dust-up, it seemed to have been a winning issue for the Repukes on the Sunday talking head shows.
