Can someone explain what the heck was mean't about this?

On MHP show this morning I happened to hear a former Bush-the minor's official make the following statement:

"When auto-workers are working one shift, they are democrats; when working three shifts, they are voting rePIGlican".

She said that while discussing an opinion article the Mitt man wrote in 2009 or so about the auto-workers in Detroit criticizing labor as pushing "policies that were out of wack" with the previaling auto industry economy, as she claimed.

What she is saying is that under Republican policy a worker has to work three shifts in order to be able to pay all their bills.

we are not democratics, we are Democrats.

Let's not take the issue too far in the other directions and give the neocons another knife with which to cut us.
