Onion layers of scandal unfolding, and the Oregonian refusing to endorse Merkeley because he's "too Leftist" and "Washington needs bipartisanship."

Vote early if possible, and encourage others to do so as well.

I hardly ever read that rag anymore, except for the features and "lite" stuff like the food section. The opinion page was Charles Krauthammer, George Will, that rightwing idiot Elizabeth Hovde, and that "moderate" dude who is really a conservative, and then the fucking editorial board having the vapors about Merkeley because he wanted a sensible tax raise for the rich.... WTF? Why even bother with that crap? No wonder the Oregonian is going down the tubes. The editorial section is the print equivalent of Meet the Press.

Any insights or opinions concerning the open primaries measure? I am leaning in favor, but am afraid there might be angles I haven't considered.

The way it was explained to me was, if the two candidates w/the highest votes were both republicans in the primary, then that is who will be running in the general.

Your choice being:

republican a

and

republican b

I am voting NO.

P.S. Please vote YES on measure 92.
