They regularly associate with one another and, at times, engage in distasteful and sophomoric pranks,” First Assistant County Prosecutor Duane Deskins, who heads the office’s Juvenile Division, said in a statement. “However, this incident is clearly different. It crossed a moral and legal line, and even the five alleged perpetrators understand that and have expressed regret.”

All the qualifiers for no jail time, for those who publicized the 'prank.' But if they'd 'assaulted' a police officer with 'bodily fluids,' or an adult, the consequences would be something to talk about.

'Let's hope it doesn't affect their chances at college or their careers' will be the next meme.
