2. An exponential series ---

Not an unlikely that a model to use for epidemics in a population with no immunity would be modelled as exponential. Containment or growing immunity is what changes the result. (Growing immunity is unlikely as there is no vaccine at this point.)

3. Plus, that NBC news crew now has been placed under mandatory confinement

because one of them, not named, violated voluntary confinement and went traipsing off somewhere.

AND, you remember when the occupants of Duncan's apt. were served with an order to stay IN the apt and not leave?
Turns out, 2 Sheriff Deputies were ordered to go into the apt. to deliver the order. No protective gear at all.
and now one of them is being checked out.

Without mandatory seclusion and a rise in IQ or common sense, we are going to see a lot more of this stupid stuff.
