Jeb Bush's family on presidential race: 'My wife is supportive'
Jeb Bush is locking up the first votes he needs to run for president — from his family.

In an interview with the Associated Press, the former Florida governor didn’t give away anything about his plans for 2016. But he indicated Barbara Bush has come around some since saying she hoped her son wouldn’t run and proclaiming “we’ve had enough Bushes” in the White House.

“She just believes that it’s something that she doesn’t want my family to go through, although she’s changed her mind on that,” Jeb Bush said about his mother’s evolution. “So I’m marking her down to ‘neutral, trending in a different direction’ than she was.”

As for his wife, Columba, who doesn’t like the spotlight, Jeb Bush told the Associated Press:

“My wife is supportive, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t understand the challenges that this brings. This is ultimately my decision with as much consideration as I can to take into account the people that I really love.”

The AP talked to Bush while he was campaigning Tuesday with his son in Texas. George P. Bush is expected to easily win his race next month for Texas land commissioner — making him the fourth generation of Bushes to hold elected office. While the son said in September he wouldn’t endorse his father for president, George P. told the Wall Street Journal that he would vote for him “otherwise I may not be invited back home for Thanksgiving.”

Asked by the AP if he would be an “enthusiastic supporter” of his father in 2016 if he decided to run, the younger Bush said “he knows that if I’m privileged to serve the state … my focus has to be on this agency and getting ready for the next hurricane.”

She is the one that was caught by US Customs for failing to fully disclose what she was bringing into the US and thus trying to avoid paying taxes a while back.

http://www.sptimes.com/News/62299/State/Gov_Bush_says_his_wif.shtml

Gov. Jeb Bush said Monday that his wife misled U.S. Customs officials about $19,000 in new clothing and jewelry she brought into the country because she didn't want him to know how much she had spent on her five-day Paris shopping trip.
---
On Friday, the Bushes disclosed that Columba Bush had paid a $4,100 fine and was briefly detained by Customs agents for failing to declare merchandise when she arrived at Hartsfield International Airport. With that, the low profile enjoyed by the governor's quiet wife ended. "Shop 'til you drop," read a headline Saturday in the Bush's new hometown paper, the Tallahassee Democrat.
...
The U.S. Customs Service, meantime, disclosed that Mrs. Bush had been given two chances to truthfully identify the amount of federal duty she owed on her purchases.

On a mandatory declaration form handed out Thursday on her Delta flight from France to Atlanta, Mrs. Bush falsely stated she had purchased $500 worth of goods, according to the Bushes and a U.S. Customs service spokesman.

Customs agents then found some shopping receipts in her purse. But Mrs. Bush declined the opportunity to change her declaration, Customs spokesman Patrick Jones said.

After that, Customs agents searched her luggage and found the merchandise. At that point Mrs. Bush confessed to all of her purchases, telling agents she did not answer truthfully at first because she did not want her husband to know how much she had spent, according to Bush spokesman Cory Tilley.

Mrs. Bush's civil fine of $4,100 was three times the duty she owed. She returned home to Tallahassee Thursday evening -- with her purchases.

none of that matters. As for the specifics against Jeb Crow Shrub's running:

* His kids' rap sheets (assault, drug use, whatever) - no biggie; just rich kids' problems.

* Wifey's customs problem - WHY, just why?!1

* Jeb Crow Shrub's business history with CIA/Cuban-exile/CIA scammings of Medicare, suitcases of cash - not a problem!1

* Neil Shrub's fucking the country with his S&L loan - Poppy screamed, "My boys have a right to make a living!1"

* Grand-parents/uncles funding HITLER - who WOULDN'T?!1

* Shrub's fake businesses, drug running, lordling carousing, oh and settling family revenges up to and including ILLEGAL WARS

NONE of this matters. Yip, my nightmare of Jeb Crow Shrub is happening.

This is perhaps the most shocking book written this century about treason committed by the highest leaders within the U.S. Government. This disturbing and thought provoking expose, which few american know about, shows the truth about the drug running activities in behalf of the "secret" government". You will learn about the unsavory past of George Bush and his family, and well as the uncrupulous activities in which he has been involved.

Why can't he be a Democratic Party member. I know his family is completely Republican, but I would love him in our party!

Obviously it bothered you enough to reply. Do me a favor and don't next time. Then either one of us will fight over nonsense and focus on getting the Senate on our side for two more years.
