It needs to be pointed out that the GOP has stopped the appointment of a Surgeon General

along with cutting funding to the CDC. In Texas where the health mismanagement is taking place is run by a GOP governor who has turned down Medicare expansion in his state. America needs to know that the GOP is the biggest threat to our health care and needs to be stopped before they kill us all!!!

in the US." Knowing the number of people who are hurt or killed in the US by guns, he's right. I was told the NRA was behind this refusal to confirm him.

I suggest ALL of media should point that out in EVERY broadcast!

For-profit private hospital, no nurses' union, in a red state. Where all they do all day is hate government and whine about government spending and how we need to cut, cut, cut.

I'm sorry - but - this is not that big a surprise, when you have a stage set up like that.

Reed could argue the votes were never there (also due to a few people in his party, but we will never know exactly since he didnt bring it up for a vote.

And why hasnt obama nominated somebody else?
