(15,435 posts)going to put the kabash on Scott! He already has many coming to his defense and attacking Crist hot and heavy!
NOT A DONE DEAL!
Don't do twitter so don't know what's being said. Not even sure how reliable the polls will be either. I know, I'm bursting bubbles but I've lived here for a very long time!

(12,132 posts)I've seen it all over facebook how Crist was pulling dirty tricks to make Skeletor look bad. I have a palm shaped dent in my forehead now.

(88,117 posts)This could make them defend him even more strongly.

The defense is already in progress, seeing it on local news and of course we have FOX!

(88,117 posts)Just heard a FL station say it was unfortunate that both candidates were hurt by the debate and the fan...the news here is so protective of Scott sometimes..
It was not both of them, it was Scott acting stupid.

(3,675 posts)you have zero tolerance for anybody who doesn't like who you like. i remember charlie christ being featured in an HBO special called "Outrage" a few years back which was about closeted gay republicans who voted or supported anti gay legislation. i have zero respect for that but then i never have to vote for this opportunist asshole unless he runs for something nationally. politicians are the least deserving of personality cults.

Apparently you missed this:

Which is why I posted about the fan.
What you posted shows intolerance.

And the best part of Scott's answer as to why he was late for the debate.

(297 posts)Rick Scott (who is deceptively smart) fan rant was how he managed to avoid any real intellectual criticism, because "fangate" is the only topic of that debate being discussed today. Not that any corporate owned journalist would dare criticize him.
madfloridian
(88,117 posts)that it really doesn't matter what Scott does or says. He got played last night, and it will have an effect of sorts
Those who would vote for someone like Scott in the first place will continue to vote for him whatever he does or says because it is ideological with them so completely that they have even forgot what they believed in the first place.
Yes, it is that bad here.

You are not someone to just jump on the bandwagon simply because someone has a 'D' after their name. You really think things thru when you put your support out there for a candidate and have no problem vocalizing your opinion no matter what their political party.
I know Floridians want Rick Scott gone gone gone. But wasn't sure if people were excited bout Charlie Crist, former Republican governor of Florida now Democrat, or just figured anything is better than Rick Scott even if they could be electing a wolf in sheep's clothing. I do know that Crist was a moderate when he was a republican and fit more in line with the republican party of old and not these Tea Party assholes of today.
So for you to post that, I truly do believe that Crist isn't just the lesser of two evils in this election but the best choice possible for Florida. i think you would have voted Crist over Scott no matter what because Scott is that bad. But you would have never posted that photo if you felt that way.
Great thread! Don't mind my ramble. I have really only been following the Pennsylvania race here. They have their own asshole governor going bye-bye!!!

(88,117 posts)coming from you. A lot of us are excited about Crist. I believe he was caught in the midst of the tea party rise when he was governor. I know for sure he won't be caving in to them.

(15,435 posts)problem defending Obama. How many "real" Democrats even have the cohones to mention his name? He said it again today, he supports Obama and ACA!
And yes, he was pretty moderate even though I didn't vote for him back then. I'm sure he knows what it means to talk about Obama so for me that gives him some credence as a reformed Repuke!
Just sayin'
