Supreme irony if

Florida voters reject Rick Scott not because his company was a major defrauder of Medicare and a rotten governor but because he had a personal meltdown over a fan on live TV. Don't get me wrong. I don't care how it comes about that Scott is tossed out of office on his ass. But it adds one more head scratching element to the magical mystery tour that is voting in America.

This can be especially true when an incident provides a clear window into what a person is really like. I think Democrats still emphasize policy matters over personal attributes. Candidates can usually hide their less than attractive side between a blizzard of TV ads. It is rare that candidates get exposed like Scott was last night.
