I have said for years cons would someday BEG LIBERALS TO SAVE THEIR ASSES, that day is here

Now they are crying and demanding that the GOVERNMENT save them from ebola.

They are now demanding that the GOVERNMENT interfere with private hospitals and tell them what to do.

If you cons were not such disgusting hypocrite assholes, I would laugh.

Wait, I am laughing

This is all after they go out of their way to DESTROY government, by the way.

they love any government service or program that they benefit from, when they benefit from it; but they hate paying for it.

they especially hate paying for it if they don't benefit from it, but they still hate paying for it even if they do.

cdc used to be able to elicit compliance for communicable disease protocols and guidelines within the private medical provider communities - via the local health departments. but it takes money from government to get it done so that it is consistent and trained public health professionals can be on the ground and following up with those private providers who cannot be forced to do anything. it takes collaboration and money to do this in the way it was done before the 90's.

Whenever I see Bobby Jindal I see him throwing his temper tantrum, stomping his feet while whining for Obama to fix the BP blow out in the Gulf. If the GOP keeps getting their way eventually there won't be a government to save their asses.

Yeah, the CDC blew it by putting out warnings, doing press conferences, providing protocols but failing to anticipate that one of our 5,723 hospitals would not take any of this very seriously. The CDC blew it by not recognizing that a patient with a high fever who said 3 times he had recently arrived from Liberia would be sent home. The CDC blew it by not foreseeing that a hospital with a suspected Ebola patient would neither follow CDC protocols, nor ask the CDC to help with treatment, or transfer the patient. The CDC blew it by clearly posting that folks under voluntary quarantine should not take public transport. The CDC blew it by not demanding, and somehow magically obtaining the legal authority to order anyone to do anything. Yeah, the CDC blew it.

Yes, the CDC blew it by not recognizing that at least one hospital in this country was not paying much attention to them, or the news. Now, we have one man dead and two nurses infected. We better stick it to the guys who are to blame, those dang CDC guys who dared believe hospitals would pay attention to their guidelines about a disease that kills.

Yeah, right.

One good thing has occurred here: it is seriously doubtful any hospital will ignore the CDC for some time, at least.

There is fear of the other out here, no doubt. Yet, we are still much more like Star Trek than lord of the flies. Many of my friends and family are republicans, who think we need immigration reform, are appalled by how much $ and how long it takes to become a citizen, and outraged by the military police display in Ferguson. Here is where it gets really weird: generally, they blame democrats for these things. They like social security and Medicare and want it around for their grandkids and they are coming around on obamacare too. The GOP does everything they can to keep them worried and they think the 'middle class' is 'doomed'. It is strange, but they are not longing for a world where everybody looks just like them. They are longing for a world that makes sense and for their televisions to stay technically advanced for about 20 years. They also do not want anymore "must have" monthly bills (cable, Internet, cell phone & etc.)

From my little life far away from the beltway, yet knowing people from many states in very different walks of life, I estimate the gop's current fear playbook is on its last gasp. If the GOP does not change and soon, the modern republican party will find themselves utterly irrelevant.

Let us send the GOP strategists back into the wilderness this November. Third time should be the charm. Giving in to fear driving bullies and snake oil salesmen is never a good plan!

Meanwhile Frieden inflamed the situation by blaming the two nurses for not folowing procedures AFTER they were infected.

Nevermind that every word he blurted was spewing infectious bullshit that was echo'ed everywhere.

Violations of protocol.

She shouldn't have flown.

Every hospital in America can handle this.

Blah, blah, blah.

And the first real goddamn case that shows up, and CDC can't even be bothered to show up and check treatment, give advise, etc.

Amazing how even Democrats will kiss the #$#%^^ of the elite in an attempt to defer blame and avoid responsibility.

Frieden should be fired. Plain and simple.

The idea of a presidential "Ebola Czar"? Seriously? If Frieden where doing his job this wouldn't be necessary. Whether off-shore drilling, spying, banking fraud, fracking polution, health care, Democrats spend 90% of their time in CYA mode trying to preserve the very culture of deliberate negligence and incompetence that is harming the general public

CDC works 24/7 to protect America from health, safety and security threats, both foreign and in the U.S. Whether diseases start at home or abroad, are chronic or acute, curable or preventable, human error or deliberate attack, CDC fights disease and supports communities and citizens to do the same.

CDC increases the health security of our nation. As the nation’s health protection agency, CDC saves lives and protects people from health threats. To accomplish our mission, CDC conducts critical science and provides health information that protects our nation against expensive and dangerous health threats, and responds when these arise.

I was listening to an interview with a nurse on Rachel Maddow last night, and it really appears that absolutely no protocols were followed at the Dallas hospital. It really only stands to reason, 'cause y'know, regulations are such an unnecessary interference and all. I mean, following protocol would have probably cut into profits.

What do you know? As it happens, the STATE gubmint (ie-TEXAS) screwed up, and now they want that Kenyan Usurper in Washington to save them. So much for the seccessionist movement.

My favorite line from Fox & Friends the other day was when Steve Doucey said it was bad that "There is no Surgeon General to take control of this, because the appointment of the Surgeon General is 'TIED UP IN POLITICS'." No shit, Leibnitz! WHOSE politics exactly???

this is one example, and there are thousands, why you need a very substantial and effective government.

I saw some idiots twitter account today and his signature is "I started my own auction business 28 yrs ago with no help from the government"

He had so much help, he continues to get so much help, that without the government he would be dead or close to it by now.

I no longer have time for these disgusting people, they do want to cause death and destruction wherever they go.
