GMA: It was the "Texas health officials" who told the nurse she could board the plane

"The nurse never called the CDC. She called the Texas health officials who (then) called the CDC and (relayed back the O.K. to the nurse)." The nurse's very intelligent and genial uncle vouched for her conscientiousness and caring, who would never knowingly put others at risk. The nurses were told only to monitor their temperatures.

So much for the Rethug-appointed state agency heads (read "donors and toadies&quot . Where's Governor GOODHAIR in this crisis of leadership, since he's always a contender with Mc5planes and Lindsey GRAHAM at racing toward any cameras in sight?!1

Plus, the future Jerk-in-Charge, Greg ABBOTT was asked in the debates what he would do to "safeguard Texas" against ebola and he said his IMMEDIATE first step would be to "CALL" the head state Health dude. Uh, nothing else, just make a phone call.

Seems to me though that whoever took the call in Texas did the right thing.

Anything after that is a decision made by someone at CDC.
