Sadly, this isn't going to send a message to other modern gunslingers. They all think they can handle it.

He'll appeal, of course, and maybe get his sentence reduced all the way down to life + ten years without parole.

.... that one can kill an unarmed black teen / man simply because one was afraid of 'scary black men" .... I am hoping this verdict provides a good counter message!

Jordan Davis is still dead, his family still grieves .... but, at least (in this case) society said .... "this is NOT acceptable"
