Hulu refuses ad by rape survivor

So how about we all help this sucker go viral.

Online ad-supported video service Hulu is refusing to run an ad by a rape survivor opposing Colorado’s Amendment 67.

Amendment 67 would ban abortion, common forms of birth control, and emergency contraception. A coalition of groups opposing Amendment 67 are launching a campaign to demand that #HuluLetHerSpeak and run the rape survivor’s story. - See more at: http://act.progressnowcolorado.org/sign/hululetherspeak/?t=3&akid=1498.239293.anDxJN#sthash.00RC4mVX.dpuf

There is nothing entertaining about rape. I would not want to see videos about abused puppies either so I think they have people like me in mind when selecting their advertisers.

6. I've only seen two political ads on Hulu, last fall. Not common at all, think people complained

I don't go to the movies to get depressed and certainly don't watch hulu for that either. If I want to see stories about rape victims or dead kittens I will turn on my tv or come here to this site.

I could understand inserting some kind of trigger warning but refusing to let it run at all is ridiculous.

for rape victims. And, then the Democratic candidate David Ige came on and said he respected women and was for Choice.

I was thrilled to see this ad since I don't have a tv and was wondering how Ige was doing. We're going to have a Japanese Governor of Hawaii!
