ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) The St. Louis Animal Cruelty Task Force is looking for a person who shot a dog in the back and left it for dead. The animal not only survived, but also overcame being paralyzed and is now helping other people.
Randy Grim called it, One of the worst animal abuse cases I`ve heard of in the Country and of course it`s sad that it happened here in St. Louis. Grim said the dog was sodomized and then they shot him in the back of the neck and left him paralyzed. Yet Grim says the dog represents the bad, but he represents more good than he does bad.
In May, volunteers at Stray Rescue were determined to show that their love would overcome the evil done to the German Shepherd named Shep.
Grim said, So many people were a big part of his recovery.
