Congressman Steve King Doesn’t Expect To Find Gay People When He Gets To Heaven

The Herald initially asked King whether he thought divorce or cohabitation are sins. “I think that I’ll not comment on that part,” he replied, choosing to focus his remarks entirely on homosexuality. “I’ll just say that what was a sin 2,000 years ago is a sin today, and people that were condemned to hell 2,000 years ago, I don’t expect to meet them should I make it to heaven. So let’s stick with that principle.”

Which means, as long as he has the support of the voters, he gets to keep spewing his hate filled, delusional, racist rhetoric!

Sioux City, South Sioux City, North Sioux City combo is the biggest town around.. they call it a city..but you know.. its a big overgrown town Though LeMars and the surrounding communities have grown quite a bit.. The Dunes is just booming in SD.. but it is sooooo conservative here.. yet we have elected some really great Democrats in the local elections.. truthfully .. people tend to vote for the guy in office..the familiar name.. so that is what our job is locally.. getting people acquainted with the canidate..

The Christian view tended toward perfection and no need for Earthly sexual activity of the flesh so how would you know someone was gay or straight? Of course Buddist want to end the cycle of rebirth no reason for sexual activity. Steve King might want to consider Islam they promise celestial virgins in Paradise.

No pockets in a shroud but Steve King wants to take his junk with him.

The last I checked, someone stops being a virgin after they have sex once. They only give you 68 of them to choose from, so what's the deal? Are you only allowed to get laid 68 times after you arrive in Paradise, or do your virgins revirginize - which would make 67 of them superfluous.

You do get a good deal in Islamic heaven many of things forbidden on Earth such as wine seem to be available in Heaven. I have always wondered about pork religions who ban pork do not know what they are missing. Islam I am sure has many variations similar to other religions. I tend to go along with Samuel Clemons (Mark Twain) on the subject of heaven. It would be extremely boring sitting on a cloud improving yourself constantly not a prospect attractive to Mark Twain. As for as myself if heaven is full of Republican asswipes such as Steve King that would be hell, I prefer to go elsewhere.

"That is the main charm of heaven—there’s all kinds here—which wouldn’t be the case if you let the preachers tell it. Anybody can find the sort he prefers, here, and he just lets the others alone, and they let him alone. When the Deity builds a heaven, it is built right, and on a liberal plan.
