Our chance to take the Governorship in Alaska just got torpedoed

Sarah Palin just came out and officially endorsed our guys. The Democrats in Alaska decided this year that an Independent ticket might be our best chance. The Democratic candidate made a bargain with the Independent candidate and they are running on the same ticket with the Democrat for Lt Governor and the Republican/Independent for the Governor. Everything seemed like it was going well until this morning. I heard on the radio that Sarah has officially endorsed the Walker/Mallot ticket.. Like a punch in the gut..

Former Governor Sarah Palin supports the Unity Ticket.
Independent candidate for governor, Bill Walker, responded today to questions regarding a recent event hosted by former governor Sarah Palin.

“Last night my family, along with Byron and Toni Mallott, and our campaign staff attended a reception hosted by Todd and Sarah Palin at their lakeside property in Wasilla. Byron and I are seeing diverse and wide reaching support that spans the state and crosses party lines.”

At the event, Sarah addressed the crowd of approximately 100 guests, stating that she supports Bill and Byron because she “trust[s] them to develop our God-given resources responsibly and to the maximum benefit of Alaskans.”

So Palin is on our side? Or are we on hers? Because not only did she endorse them, but she hosted an event at Palin Manor in Wasilla.

At least we'll defeat the Republican right?
