The integrity of the Grand Jury investigation into the shooting of #MichaelBrown is GONE. This Grand Jury needs to be dismissed. First we had the news of Darren Wilson testifying before the Grand Jury for 4 hours, then a Twitter user claiming a friend on Grand Jury says there is not enough evidence to indict, now we are hearing 7 or 8 black witnesses gave testimony “consistent” with Darren Wilson’s account but don’t want to be identified. The integrity of the Grand Jury proceedings are gone. The Grand Jury proceedings are suppose to be secret. This is a fraud and credibility has been destroyed. Dismiss this Grand Jury and appoint a special prosecutor to restore the integrity of these proceedings.

But who is leaking this information and why?

1. Lawrence O'Donnell was covering the leaks last night and...

believes the leaks come from one of two sources, either the Prosecutor's office or Wilson's lawyer. The office of the Prosecutor issued a statement that they were not the source of the leaks (lol, like they are believable in any way at this point, imo) while Wilson's lawyer hasn't responded at all.

I think it could be both given how the Prosecutor has no credibility and Wilson's lawyer has every reason to leak supposed details that are seen to be in Wilson's favor.

I am glad the DOJ has responded to the leaks with grave concern, it is clear they are watching this VERY closely.

2. I'd be all for empaneling a new grand jury

And a gag order on everybody.

But we have grand juries for a reason, so that prosecutors cannot unilaterally issue indictments.

Presenting the evidence to the Grand jury is the Prosecutor. He might as well be issuing indictments as he see's fit since he can skew the presentation of the evidence to support his position.

Cops don't get indicted because DA's have to work with cops and DA's are the ones presenting the evidence to the grand juries. This is an inherent conflict of interest in the grand jury system.

12. This grand jury was bound to be a fake,

even if the jurors may not be aware of this. The problem, as I understand it, lies in the prosecutor. He is the one who can choose witnesses or data, which are brought up to the jury. The governor has no intention to call for a special prosecutor as we have seen.

Thus a new grand jury would not help. I don't have any idea how much power can be used by the Feds, but I don't think it is much.

The reason for leakage is to prepare us for a "white wash" of the whole mess, and to make sure that a lot of people as well as the media will believe that Wilson's story justified his actions.

At least this is how I understand it. It remains to be seen whether this tactic will work.

"7 or 8 black witnesses who don't want to be identified". BS!!!!! The fix is in, wilson is going to walk. This is disgusting in it's transparency. This country is heading toward really bad times and possibly a racial conflict to make the 60's fight for voting and civil rights look like child's play. White people like wilson, the grand jury, the DA are playing with people lives and their murder in a very cavalier manner. But the murdered are black, so what's to be expected? This is land of cotton, slavery, segregation, two education systems, one for 'urban' areas and the other for say areas like Keene, KKK, bundy, Issa, Cruz, Ryan, RW racist pigs disguised as congress people and police officers.

Better to go down fighting for ones right to be recognized as a human being than to continue to watch these travesty's unfold that is saying just the opposite about human rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. What BS lies......

16. Well they had to do something with the 100s of thousands of dollars Wilson received!

My hope is that the DoJ comes down with the big hammer and forces both PDs to reorganize from the ground up. CLEARLY there can be no justice for minorities as long as these corrupt PDs hold sway over the law.
