Oh yeah? How Do *SnowWald* Worshipers Sleep at Night?!Last edited Sat Oct 25, 2014, 08:35 PM - Edit history (1)
Look people, I can't believe the ignorant crap I have to read on a supposedly "Democratic" site.
How do we sleep at night? How do WE sleep at night? How do YOU sleep, SnowWaldistas!!! Sure, Operation Spy-On-Everyone violates the plain meaning of the Fourth Amendment of our Constitution, but the Constitution is not a suicide pact! Operation Spy-On-Everyone saved lives! As Starship Cmdr. Keith Alexander, the former head of the NSA testified to Congress, the vital secret programs that SnowWald leaked to al Qaeda had stopped more than 50 terror plots cold! More than 50! Of course, that number was later found to actually be 0, not "more than 50", but that's NOT THE POINT. I realize that most of you in DU-land are members of the Lumpenproletariat and are thus as slow-witted as a sloth that's gotten into the ether stash, so I'll spell it out: Just by the bad guys KNOWING that we had a secret program like this, we scared them from doing evil acts of Terra! Now that they know we have a program, the game's over. We lose our children, our way of life, our precious bodily fluids, our humorous cat pictures -- all of it. Gone in an instant, thanks to Comrade SnowWald's treason. I hope you Fourth-Amendment-Huggers NEVER SLEEP AGAIN, tossing and turning in [strike]tortured[/strike] enhanced-interrogation agony, just as Snowden's Hawaiian neighbors did when he didn't smile at them. We'll watch our videos of your nighttime suffering, we'll hear your sleepy voices on your phone calls, and we'll laugh. Regards, Third-Way Manny

135. Jeb Bush Is Running It Was Announced By His Son Today
Obama and Hillary are puppets of the Bush led CIA/NSA. I can't believe Democrats let this happen...again. We have been corrupted. Who could've ever thought a member of that family could run again but like in 2000 it has been scripted with the help of turncoat fake Democrats. Who do you think posts all the Pro-NSA comments here? I have never met a single Democratic voter who supports NSA crimes.

5. Can I apologize?
For all my life I have thought and acted like the 4th was pretty important stuff.
I now see it was bad for me, us, you and everyone. Bad stuff. It made some people in government tell lies. If it hadn't been for my support of this trashy 4th thing, they wouldn't have had to lie, they would have just told the truth, saying: "Screw you peons, we are big brother and there ain't jack you can do." Everyone would just feel so much better now and forever knowing that is just the Way It Is. The 4th, I see now, has caused Master big problems, and I am so sorry to have made life hard for Master. |

17. You may be right, Doc
We should all just become republicans? Then there would be no arguments as we then would just trust our leaders and do whatever they tell us to do. Like in the Army.
Things would be such much simpler then. It would make all republicans happy, for at least a bit, and we could all live under one thumb, a nation undivided, with liberty and justice for the 1%. This, of course, would be a whole new course for someone like me, but once I shed my democratic faith and belief, it should all come trickling down with ease. I've never tried "bend over and take it", but for the sake of the union, maybe I should try it? |

97. Why be a REpublican when you can be a Democrat and conservative.
I wish it was as easy as Republicans bad - Democrats good. But that's a distraction pushed by the Ruling Oligarchs. The President can't have his nomination for Surgeon General, not because of the Democrat - Republican split, but because of the Progressive - Conservative split.
We don't all have to become Republicans per your idea, we just have to all become Conservatives. Republicans aren't allowed in DU but conservatives are. Most of Pres Obama's appointees are Conservatives. The PTB are smiling. |

130. I imagine Karl Rove in his cave rubbing hands with glee
He knows GOP is doomed by demographics, so flipping the Dems is his only strategy now. That's why Jeb is key. Rove hopes he can skim the Spanish vote and further the absurd fiction that the GOP has always been the party of newly immigrant Latinos from south of the border. Classic Rove style. He doesn't fight like a man, but like a street rat.

Interesting how some are thinking the Republican Party is dying while we worry about whether they will control both the Senate and House. For the record the Democrats don't control the Senate now, the Conservatives do. |

They are old. They themselves are going to fall victim to their own voter suppression schemes. They have no money unless they are in the 1%, so the wolf will be at their door. They are dangerous around weapons, so they will shoot themselves. They refuse to be vaccinated, so they will further cull the herd. And some of the dumbest sincere ones will volunteer to go where their country sends them to die.
They are doomed. Only a matter of time. Maybe not this time. But who knows? I didn't vote for no stinkin' Republican. |

81. Not sure what you mean
I loved the Dead. I saw more concerts than I can count. Though not like a Dead Head number. And I never took hallucinogenics. They were just really, really good at those light shows and colors. And one time, during a drum solo, they actually made the band float over the audience at Alpine Valley. Was awesome!

Not everyone who was into the Dead took hallucinogens... but I suspect that everyone who took hallucinogens liked the Dead, at least while they were tripping.

88. We must be kind to those that don't want to be told the truth.
We should take a hint when they put their fingers in their ears and close their eyes and repeat "Greenwald is a Commie", over and over. There is a lot of badness in the world and some desperately cling to the idea that the stronger and secret'ier the Security State the safer they will be.
That know-it-all, Ben Franklin said, “They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” But what Ben isn't telling us is that maintaining our liberties is very hard and for some, apparently not worth the effort. |
