TLC Cancels Here Comes Honey Boo Boo over Mama June’s Child-Molesting Boyfriend

TLC has officially canceled their ratings hit Here Comes Honey Boo Boo due to rumors that the family’s matriarch, June “Mama June” Summers, was dating a convicted child molester.

Yesterday, TMZ released a photo of Mama June and recently-released convict Mark McDaniel in a hotel room together, along with reports that the two of them had resumed a relationship that began and ended ten years ago, when McDaniel was convicted of aggravated child molestation in — specifically, “forcing oral sex on an 8 year old” relative of Mama June — and sent to serve a ten-year prison sentence in 2004.

Mama June herself was recently divorced from Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, a former cast member on the show and the biological father of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thomspon.

saved up in a trust fund for the kid's therapy sessions. Someday, she's going to have to look back at the idiocy that her mother got her into, and is going to need a lot of counseling to convince her that it wasn't her fault.

As for that stupid mother, I hope that the kid sues every dime off of her, but chances are, she'll have pissed it away by the time that this child turns eighteen. First, that disgusting "Toddlers and Tiaras" tragedy, then teaching her daughter to make money out of making fun out of rural folks.

even though I found her obnoxious (it really wasn't her fault), because now she is going to be a has-been. Hope there is still $$ left, she will need help. I wish they would cancel all these so-called reality shows even The Kardashians.

10. At least two mistakes in this article

Mama June's last name is Shannon, not Summers, and she was never married to "Sugarbear."

I actually watched the show the first couple of seasons, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the family nothing like the stereotypes. For example, June would take a photo of every card or gift from a fan, with her daughter proudly displaying it, and post it on FB with a personal thank-you to the fan who sent it. Nothing like the Palins in that regard. That said, the last couple of seasons were unwatchable. I mostly blame the producers, for coming up with the most ridiculous, absurd, and awful scenarios. I enjoyed it for a time, but I sure won't miss it. I do feel for the poor kid. She must be very confused.
