Filming Cops: No Conviction For Cop Who Threw Dog Down Concrete Stairs and Then Shot It to Death

LFR note: If you do go to site to read the story, please note that the photos are disturbing!

"Patriot" was mixed breed Shar Pei described as gentle and friendly by the community.

Officer Fike is seen in the photo driving his knee into Parrot’s back while stretching Parrot’s legs behind him, as one would do with an armed criminal.

Without waiting to determine whether this technique would calm Parrot, Officer Fike grabbed Parrot, lifted him off the ground, and brought him to the top of the concrete staircase, according to reports.

Officer Fike then threw Parrot over the banister, down twelve steps, and onto the concrete floor, according to eyewitnesses at the scene.

Then, Fike stood at the top of the stairs, drew his weapon, and shot Parrot to death.

Should be locked up for a very long time. But oh, he's got a badge, no problem. Anyone who abuses animals (particularly companion animals) or children is a serious danger to society. We'll all be much better off when we recognize that fact.

It seems to be a job that draws the absolute scum of the earth and corrupts the few decent ones who join up. Maybe those 90s LA rappers were onto something....

These folks are saying "no conviction" as if there was a trial. There wasn't.

There were no charges, there was no trial, and at this point, I'm sure the statute of limitations has long-since passed: like it or not, dogs (and cats, and cows, and goats, and gerbils) are considered property under the law.
