I remain puzzled by how Mike Brown sustained this final and fatal wound. If the vertex of scalp is on the top of the head, and it had a downward path, a 6'4" Brown would have to be at a 90 degree angle if he was "charging" at Wilson, like he says. If Brown already had a wound to his chest, how can this be possible, to run at this angle to get a wound of the top of his head, it defies the laws of physics. I think with a chest wound, the body doubles over, and he was stumbling, or already on his knees.
From the PDF of Mike Brown autopsy, I don't know how to copy for here, so paraphrasing: #1 Gunshot entrance wound of the vertex of the scalp......near midline of vertex of the head ..The path of this shot is downward and rightward.

(54,770 posts)officer's gun (assuming he did). To them, he was fair game for blasting away. I hope enough of Grand Jury think before letting Wilson get a commendation, but I'm not counting on it.

(8,694 posts)right now. The red circle on the left is Wilsons police SUV, it is 108 feet from the body of Mike Brown. So how "scared" could Wilson have been?

(14,177 posts)Which I am not saying you are, I am saying it is a problem for those who are.
The head wound is supposed to have been the last one. But, according to Wilson's surrogates it was when Brown was charging. Which would have been after receiving a bullet in the hand, one in the back, and several along his arm and inexplicably one in his chest. I say inexplicable because I am pretty sure no one is charging after that. If he was falling and then got shot then the fatal shot is inexcusable since he was incapacitated at that point.

(8,694 posts)Wilson's story is a lie. Mike Brown was not a threat, and Wilson literally ran after him to deliver the fatal shots.
Shaun King's work on the distances involved is ground breaking.

(3,208 posts)that i have been having a very hard time with. Roorda is the democratic candidate in my district. I cannot put a mark next to his name in this election. From the traditions in this area, he will probably win over the republican, but I cannot help him get this job. I may agree with him in other areas, but his stance on this case, and probably others like it, is not what is good for the people of this state.
This is a hard choice to make,I have voted straight D my whole life and I am now 50, but I can't vote for this person. I will leave it blank or write in a name.
