Uhm. I just saw something I never thought I would see.

Yes, I have seen the BP commercials on the Ed Show and The Rachel Maddow Show. But it's MSNBC so somewhat expected of a corporate whore.

But...tonight...Koch industries ran a commercial on The Daily Show saying what great guys they are...!!!!

IS NOTHING SACRED???

Or...what are they afraid of?

And ad revenue is what keeps channels on the air. Hush money. Here's your money, now hush or you won't get anymore.

and of course the Koch boys think the drop in Georgia Pacific paper products is due to all the lies we commie-symp pinko liberals are telling about them. That's why they're squandering money on feel good crapola.

The Koch boys are just plain slow and will likely be the last to realize that business is down because nobody's got any money to spend.

And MSNBC is owned by Comcast/NBC, so they aren't so different in their corporate ownership.

It's kind of a come down from their noble pandering to PBS.

I take it as a good sign actually, and think you may be right about the fear thing. They've become part of the political conversation and they don't like it.

Just like the BP spots, this is a weak attempt at damage control, I think.

Money for those shows.

And I'm fine with FOX hosts telling women not to vote. It'll only be Republican women who listen to their shite.
