The Repubs Plan To Stonewall Obama's Presidency & Dismantle His Legacy.....

I read this article in Sunday's Chicago Tribune. Here's a link to it from another website. It was written by a Steven Mufson of the Washington Post. This is what we'll have in store for us if the Repubs take the Senate next Tuesday.

Here's the link: http://www.panews.com/cnhi_network/the-gop-s-plan-for-dismantling-obama-s-legacy/article_8bd6cc9d-666f-52d9-96e2-6470a76e582b.html

Repubs increasing chances to take over the Senate and likely the White house?
I don't see that happening.

We know what kind of tough negotiator Pres. Obama is .... not!

If the Republicans win a majority, I expect Pres. Obama to give them a peace offering of the Keystone XL pipeline.

I expect he will eagerly join forces with them to fast track the TTP trade agreement.

For his equanimity, the Republican Senate will do away with the filibuster and send bill after bill after bill of regressive legislation approved by both Senate and House to Obama's desk for veto.

They will then bray for two years about how Barack Obama is the most obstructionist president in U.S. history.

If the Repuglicans control the U.S. Senate, it will be an absolutely miserable two years in this country.

However, I think the Democrats will hold on to the the Senate with one vote and the shrillness of the Tea Party-Republicans from now until November 2016 will mean even Bernie Sanders could get elected President.

In 2012 at this point there were 2 races that close. In 2010 and 08, 3 each. Not so sure this is going to be a good year for the prophetic set....

Anecdotal evidence ... be it the record breaking voter registration drives across the country, the demonstrated mobilization and coordinated actions of Black voters in NC, VA, GA, and MS, backlash against voter suppression efforts, and/or the "Ferguson-Effect" on Communities of Color ... suggest that you very well may be correct.
