The incredible thing about the Hogueison family is not that they dress up as The Incredibles family every Halloween. Its that they dress up as The Incredibles every fall as in the season.
Maybe youve seen them at an area pumpkin patch, Valas in Gretna or Skinny Bones in Blair, where they can be found most weekends. Or maybe youve brushed by them at a fundraiser walk and noticed the attention to detail that defines their commitment to make-believe.
We never use boot covers, Michelle Hogueison said, speaking of the faux footwear that often comes with costumes. We always use boots.
It started as a simple trick-or-treat idea. Michelles twins, Tabatha and Tanner, were 4 years old when the family decided to dress up together for Halloween. They settled on The Incredibles, the 2004 Pixar film about a family with superpowers living in a world thats grown hostile to superheroes. It was the kids choice.
Because they watched the movie a hundred million times, Michelle said.
